Could someone please assist. I have a 7 inch imported(Chinese) Android tablet Pc.

It is said to be able to use an external 3g device but if I connect it nothing happens.
The light flashes indicating that there is power and it flashes blue meaning it's picking up signal but I can't seem to figure it out.

When I go to settings>Wireless & Networking I look to find any indication of 3g but there is only wifi and vpn.

I read that I need to setup the APN but I can't find it anywhere on the device and it would not make a difference if the unit is not picking up the dongle. Some suggest that it might be the virtual cd rom on the dongle but I can't find out how to disconnect it.

Throw out the e220 dongle , its old tech. One of the worst hardware products ever supplied. its not compatible with vista ,win 7 etc etc. If this is not a option, then downloading patches, hot fixes , firmware and new software versions is the only way to go. This process is not guaranteed.

Rather go back to your 3g service provider and either try and upgrade your contract to a new model , or buy one. eg K3520
