Hi Tazz-Tux

I'm back to haunt you, this time with a new E220! :)

When I plug in the modem after the /etc/init.d/... command, the system sees it as a mass storage device and opens the file browser. Also, I don't get the messages that you give in your instructions. Instead, every second or so I get this message on the terminal:

sr0: Current: sense key: No Sense
Additional sense: No additional sense information
sr 5:0:0:0: SCSI error: return code = 0x8000002

By the way, the modem works -- I tested it on Windows.

Where to from here?

Hi Skywatcher,

Why do I have this sinking feeling I answered this one before ???
