I have a mtn internet connection with a huawei e367 usb modem, which are almost 3 years old. Had problem with speed at my previous house, but for the last year, no problems. Yesterday my modem/pc started acting up.
When I connect with mtn dashboard, I sometimes have only 10-20 seconds connection before my modem disconnects completely as if I were unplugging it from the usb port. When downloading, it goes up to 2mbps and keeps connected, but as soon as the modem are idling (no internet action or mild browsing) it disconnects. I have tried all 6 usb ports. My other external usb devices don`t disconnect.
I did a complete wipe of my pc and reloaded windows 7. Installed modem on a clean setup - same problem.
Any advice will be apreciated.
On a side note anybody have experience with telkom do uncapped 4mbps at R286?
