I have a Huawei E5820 wifi router. I'm using a Vodacom sim card in the router. The router is working fine and I get Internet connection. The problem arises when I access the web page at 192.168.1.1 When I log onto the web page, and click on the SMS icon, the router completely freezes and I have to remove the battery to restart it. This problem started after I logged a call with Vodacom to report that I was receiving SMS's meant for another recipient. This problem is also recurring as I swoped a previous modem that did the the same thing as initially I thought that maybe the router was faulty. I contacted Huawei who have assured me the software is up to date.I have also contacted Vodacom, but they can't seem to diagnose the problem.I have tried all avenues by Googling, etc, etc, but to no avail. This seems to be a unique problem or is it? I am hoping someone can come to my rescue and maybe help me diagnose and eventually resolve this problem.

Apparently it's not unique problem. I have exactly the same problem you have described in your message. My router is Huawei E5832S and it shows that it's got 5 messages and keeps freezing if i try to click sms icon when logged in with browser.
