I know this was probably not a smart thing to do. While my modem was updating its firmware I restarted my laptop as my XP was not responding. The unit is now unusable. Windows doesn’t recognize it and the firmware update says that it can’t find the device. What do I do? Do I throw it a away and buy a new one?
