[Huawei E630] Vodafone Mobile Connect problems

Hi all. Wonder if anyone can help here, I have bought a vodafone 3G HSDPA card (Huawei E630) from vodacom and am therefore using the vodafone mobile connect software (v.9.1.2). When I try to connect it keeps telling me there is an error and must set my card to default but still no change (''RAS error code 619'' ). It connected once when it found "vodacom 3G hsdpa" otherwise its trying to connect to either "vodacom 3G" or "vodacom GPRS" with this error. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem? Thanx!

Is this a new setup?
Have you had your sim activated & data enabled?
Do have any data available on your cell number?

I have been getting a 619 error depending on the version of dashboard I was using for having been locked. This had been with the E220 Modem. The above is one of the easier solutions to 619 errors.

If your sim is data enabled and you have airtime / a bundle available, maybe you could try the generic Huawei dashboard instead
