Huawei ETS6630 GSM Desktop

Client of mine had their adsl cables stolen in Krugersdorp area and Telkom refuses to relay cables. As an alternative solution they provided a Huawei ETS6630 GSM Desktop phone.
Would he still be able to connect this phone via a Netgear Router and connect via a adsl isp to connect to internet?

No...because this is a GSM phone it does not work on ADSL, but rather on GSM/GPRS/3G, so therefore you will not be able to utilize a adsl isp with it.
