Huawei Fitbit compatibility

Hi Guys

I have read a few forums that complain about issues with compatibility between Fitbit devices and huawei. I have a Fitbit versa that works great with my s7 but now thinking of upgrading to the mate or p series. Has anyone managed to get the versa to sync with their huawei including notifications?

To my knowledge it's only been the lite devices that had issues, but I can't say for sure.

From the forums I've read it seems like it affects the P and Mate series, apparently... I was hoping there would be someone on the forum who could validate this for me

I had a p8, it worked fine with a fitbit charge 2. The P8 lite did not.

Not sure if at all related, but I had issues with my Garmin device and my Mate 10 Pro. It was due to the aggressive battery management. Sorted it by setting the Garmin app to bypass that in the settings

I had a fitbit and Huawei P20 pro and it used to work, haven't tried it with the Mate20 Pro though since I am using the watch GT
