I have upgraded to VDSL, went and bought a Huawei HG659 router, which they say is VDSL capable. I cannot get this stoopid router to connect. It sync, but doesn't connect under internet settings.
Telkom was here with their own Netgear router and it works.
Afrihost account and openserve account, doesn't work on my router.
So, I spent close to 30mins on the phone with afrihost and they can't help me. Don't blame them. Phoned Huawei and spent close to 45mins on the phone with them, also with no success. They said I must phone afrihost again.
Anyone else maybe used these routers before and got it to work?
