So with Huawei's expertise in 5G infrastructure and recently revealing the Balong 5000 modem with 5G support, it's only fair that they partnered up with universities to pass on their knowledge and in order to work more closely with universities and build an international platform for ICT talent exchange, Huawei have held a ICT competition for university students.
The main aim for the competition was to provide a platform for global ICT talents to compete and communicate, promote high-quality ICT talent development and drive the growth of a robust and sustainable ICT talent ecosystem.
The Huawei ICT Southern Africa final competition will be held in Huawei Office Park on March 8th and 9th and the Award Ceremony will be held on March 10th. The winning team will be invited to China for the global Final competition.
