Thanks for this balanced reporting. I think what Huawei has been doing over the years is absolutely brilliant. I was once an iSheep and truth be told you're being overcharged for Apple products. I moved away from a MacBook Pro to a Huawei Matebook X Pro. Best decision I ever made. I have the watches as well as the P30 pro. I've ordered this Matepad pro as I'm planning to go full on mobile. All I need is outlook, invision, Onenote and excellent battery life. The price and product are phenomenal. People always say huawei copies Apple. But I believe with this device they are challenging the status quo

You can't list the price directly like that since you're not taking e.g. taxes, shipping and mark-up into account.
The price difference also means it should be competing with the iPad 7th gen rather than the pro, imho the matebook pro loses in everything besides price, which is why it's good compared. But for most the use-case is that the normal iPad is just as good, so this comparison is, as usual, a taste and budget thing. I like iPad's OS, probably the best tablet experience.

I really don't like EMUI.

Without Google services I rather buy any cheap non certified Tablet with a decent spec for cheaper..

I'm super happy with this device. I paid under R9000 for it. It's super portable..display is amazing. Battery life amazing..i have fully replaced my laptop with it. I find this waaaay better than an iPad pro.
