Huawei Mediapad T1 - HOME button 'dead'

Nothing happens when I press the Home button. Same for Settings icon in top menu bar.
HOME button sound and haptic feedback ok. Also tried it after rotating screen180 degrees.

Friend of mine had same issue. Think he did a reset on the unit. Worked after that.
