Huawei Mobile Partner for E620

The Huawei Mobile Partner software is also available for the Huawei E620, go directly to Huawei's E620 download page and download the file E620-UTPSB002D03SP09C03 (Normal).

My apologies for cross-posting, but I have noticed many of you forumites are 'brand-loyal' and don't read the other mobile data forums.

This is essentially the same software available for the E220 discussed in much detail in this thread.

It offers an improved user interface, better SMS and contact handling and usage stats and graphs.

Is it just me, or is the voice dialing page missing. For if you want to make a voice call with the E620 + earpiece?

I didn't even think to look for that as I never make voice calls.

Close Mobile Partner, look for a file called 'SysSetting.xml' in your Mobile Partner installation directory (the default will be 'C:\Program Files\Mobile Partner'), open it with notepad or wordpad and log for the tag <servicevoice>, make sure the value thereafter is a 1 and not a 0, save the file, start Mobile Partner.

On my system this adds Call and Call Log to the tool bar and Operations menu.

ah, that did it, thanks ginggs. i only use the voice calls to load/check my prepaid bundles as it seems i cant do this via ussd commands.
