Would you buy a 6P over a one plus 3? They are very similar but the OP3 beats the 6P in a few areas. At this stage I'm leaning towards the 6P as it's just much easier to get hold of in SA without paying absurd amounts of money.

Stock of the 6P/5X will almost certainly disappear a few days before the Oct 4 announcement. I was hoping to snap up a red Nexus5 back in the day but Orange went from good stock levels to no stock in like 2 days...
 
Just got my 6P, that was super fast delivery from Orange, I ordered last week Friday afternoon, must say I am impressed!

Now I just need to find a case and screen protector, gonna check at chinatown.

I got my screen protector from Zeek, was pricey but no where else had at the time.

Is it still worth it to get the Nexus 6P? I currently own an iPhone 6s, and love it. But Ive always wanted a Nexus en my gat jeuk om een te kry. Its more of a want than a need though. I also want a new iPhone 7 although the upgrade from 6s to 7 isnt huge. I have used both Android and iOS, but love iOS stability and speed. Android has more features though so it's a catch 22.

Yip definitely. I reckon it's still the best android experience currently and I go through plenty phones!!! Love mine and will be a while before I sell it.
 
Got an OTA upgrade this morning to Android 7.1.1 (Beta). Initial impression is it is more responsive. Will play more later.

Has the update helped with the battery drain issue? Were you experiencing that at all?
 
Didn't really have a specific problem, but will report back if battery life any better

Battery with 7.1.1 seems the same as with 7.0, meaning it is still fine. I do however think the best battery life I ever saw was with 6.0. But yeah, it might be my imagination. With 7.1.1 I still have ±40/45% left at the end of a day. It is now 22:31 and I'm sitting at 43% after a day of normal usage: updating some apps, downloading a few Youtube videos for offline viewing, few calls, some reading, some emails etc.

For those of you who appreciate a high quality wallpaper on the Nexus 6P's amoled screen, here's a wallpaper I prepared to download (7.7MB). It's basically the default wallpaper for MacOS Sierra, but cropped from the original image file to fit the Nexus screen. Enjoy!
 
guys I've got 2 nexus 6ps for sale in the for sale section. 32gb and 128gb..let me know if anyone is interested
