Huawei one-ups Apple’s iPhone 6

Huawei pre-emptively introduced a sapphire phone on the assumption that iPhone6 would also have one, and then turned out to have one-upped them when Apple didn't use the material. I'm interested to find out the properties of the iPhone6 screens though. They have a slight curvature as well.

Huawei are still some way behind apple in terms of quality, sapphire glass or no.
 
I have a watch with Sapphire glass and titanium. I've had it for the last 7 years, very impressed, clarity impressive. Hasn't left my wrist looks band new.
 
That's be fantastic if Apple and other makers start making use of this.

My S3 looked terrible at the end of 2 years without a cover - millions of hairline scratches. Imagine an IP67 rates sapphire glass phone? If Huawei did it, others must follow soon
 
A phone with a sapphire screen, water resistant and dust proof would be perfect for someone I know. Am sure it'll last them a year or so
 
that i6 is schexy. tempted to get it but no. will get by with the i5 for a while still.
