So I've been having some difficulty with obtaining my bootloader unlock key.
With the service going down on the 23th of July 2018, 60 days after the 24th of May 2018, I thought it would be a good idea to obtain my bootloader unlock key to at least have it for when I need to inevitably root my device in the future.
I have tried the emui.huawei.com website, where after I input my device's particulars the yellow box reads, "If you have any questions about the unlock code application, please contact us". I have sent them multiple emails to which the only response I get is to go to the website and obtain it from there, which yields me no results. I have phoned the Huawei hotline and the helpful customer care adviser informed me to visit the Huawei shop at Canal Walk where one of their technical staff should be able to assist me. Upon doing so I was informed that they cannot give me this code as they are not permitted to, as well as unofficially told that my best bet would be to see a "backyard technician", as that would be my best bet to get this code.
So I am placing this question up here in the hopes that someone can help me obtain this code before the service goes down and I won't be able to ever root my android device.
