Huawei P20 Lite damage

Does this phone come with accident damage repair like Samsung's ADH? I'm sure I read something about somewhere. If it does how doest one go about claiming? Telkom told me there's no such thing

My dad's one fell, which cracked the rear glass. He said it's a fortune to fix it (I don't remember the figure he mentioned), so I assume you don't get accidental drop cover. The phone looks good though, when it doesn't have a massive crack on the back, obviously!

No you don't, only P20 and P20 Pro get that service

Insurance should cover that. I rather pay the full repair cost in convenient monthly installments, than all at once.

Your screenshot just about highlight what I was about to say, it does not include labour and VAT charges. Not sure about courier costs as well though.

All depending on what they charge for labour add the VAT on all and it could get quite expensive.

Prices in the above screenshot are not bad. Vodacom had me pay R 2700 to get the screen on my LG G3 repaired.

At R2700 I'd start to seriously consider just getting a new one....

My old Sony Z2 was R4,700+through Vodacom about 3 year back.

It's mad ! Mad, I tell you !
