Huawei P8 Lite on Vodacom

has anyone experienced where the phone refuses to access the google account (store, inbox, g+). it won't even let me remove the account in settings?

in store all i get is a white screen with a circling green line.
inbox and g+ have not updated since the last sync about 2 days ago.

build number is ALE-L21C02B130 and it is seemingly on the latest vodacom software when i click update.

Please tell me it's only on Vodacom and it is not a problem with the phone. I plan to get me one, but with Telkom.

There is a new firmware out. Download and then clear phone

My wife has one on MTN prepaid. No problems in the last 4 months.

decided to factory wipe it

Had the same issue with a Sony Xperia E4. Solved in a similar way.
