HUAWEI P8 LITE Software update????????

Does anyone know when there will be a software update release on the Huawei P8 Lite. The world is moving forward and it seems that MTN is always last to get updates. The rest of the world is already running Android 6 & 7 while MTN phones is stuck on 5.0.1
