Does the second sim slot work? Does it actually pick up and allow for the second sim to be used? Most networks in SA disabled the use of the second sim via firmware block.

Not sure if this is true, we got 2 dual sim phones from different networks and both sims work.

Cell C allowed the use..Telkom not sure... VC and Mtn disabled it (from what I've read)..which networks did you get on and did you buy the phone from the provider or other store like orange?
 
Never tried the second slot, had my sd card in. Let me check if it works.

One from CellC and one from Vodacom. Both on upgrades.
