Hi all, I purchased a second hand Huawei P9, at Cash Crusaders, I discovered the bootloader was locked, which wasn't a big issue at the time considering how easy it is (Or thought) to unlock your bootloader with the huawei website, and then entering your IMEI number, product ID etc, to receive an unlock code. I consider myself IT literate, and I love a good challenge when it comes to experimenting with technology, and I tried to do it myself, only for me to get a "Serial Number, or IMEI mismatch" error upon clicking on submitting my phone's details, when trying to get the unlock code. I contacted Huawei Africa, via their email, only for them to tell me, it had to be done at the Huawei branch itself. So I took myself to the Canal Walk, wasted time, and effort, only to be turned away, and told "Nope we don't deal with bootloader unlocking, rooting, or things that void your warranty here" When I contacted their support again via email, they assured me that the matter would be escalated to their manager, and feedback will be given. (That Was Thursday already, and I have heard NOTHING back)
What on earth am I supposed to do to get this thing unlocked, and I am seriously considering going to hellopeter about this whole saga.
Thanks
