Does anyone have any info on when we should see this phone in SA. I'm sure I read somewhere that is was June. Looking at getting the P9 Plus as my next phone.

Our deals will be posted soon in my thread.

I know Huawei have made improvements in their phones and all that and they were popular, but the reason they were popular was because of the price vs performance. Now that they are pricing themselves at similar pricing to Samsung and other known brands are they going to remain popular?

Pricing does seem quite high. Hardly the cheap brand it once was. Does look like a great phone though. Any chance the contract prices will go down in the next two months? How long does the R3k glasses promotion go on for?

Went to Vodaworld yesterday with my sis so she could have a look at the Sony M5, Huawei P9 Lite and the Iphone 6S as she needs to upgrade. She really liked the P9 Lite but still wanted the Iphone becasue she is used to it. Gave her the comparison of the deals on her package when we got home and she then went for the P9 Lite. Will get it for her tomorrow. I also really like the P9 Lite. Great looking phone.

My sis loves her P9 Lite. Gave it to her last night. She was dreading going to Android, but said afterwards that I set the phone up for her it was really painless.

I spoke to Vodacom and they said they only stock the the single sim P9 Plus unfortunately. Huawei said MTN and Telkom will be carrying the dual sim version although neither of them is actually carrying the Plus version yet.

Got the P9 in dubai with the huawei band for 499 dollar - great phone. Anyone suggest where I can get a couple of USB C cables that are decent and not R350 / cable??
