The one guy complains about fingerprints on a touch-screen... I mean really?
The other one does not know how a micro USB port works or, apparently, how to setup WIFI to do document transfers, okay...

If anyone finds some accessories for this, like a docking station, extra batteries, pouches or cases, please post this as well so that the others know where to get their hands on them!

I'm now in the market for a pouch or case.
 
Small tip, if you want to stream 1080p video onto a tablet or even older android phone which cant handle the video due to old hardware, get Dice Player, it streams and converts the video real-time without losing video quality. its the only player out at the moment that can stream 1080p flawlessly on any device. rock/mx video player can do it also, but 50% of the devices still stutter or get artifacting

Edit: forgot to mention, there is no pc/media side setup/install to do, the app just installs on android and works when you open a video through your file manager es/astro/file expert etc.

ATM I'm struggling to get mobile date enabled on the device, something wrong with the MTN account, will get that sorted tomorrow.

While on the phone to 808 to get the account sorted I discovered a bug, if the screen times out the bluetooth voice connection gets cuts.
I was using my bleutooth headset, screen timed out and the connection was dropped. I have not replicated this with anything else (like headphones), but as a precaution I set my screen time-out to never while on the phone.
 
Anyone here know how to do a recovery boot on this device?

I have tried a couple of button combinations with no success so far.
 
That review, what the hell. I've never read such a shocking tech review before.
I get that their audience is perhaps not a technically inclined one but that review wouldn't help anyone.
The user review here is much more useful for someone interested in buying a tablet.

Does not work on some devices:

- remove & replace battery
- press & hold POWER & VOLUME DOWN for 1 minute
- release both & device 'should' recovery boot...
 
I read on the forums that if you recovery boot a S7 (not the slim, the older model) it wiped all you data, basically it did a factory reset as well. I cannot believe that it will happen with the Slim, so let me test this and see what happens.
