HuffPostSA former editor granted leave to appeal hate speech ruling

The former editor of the Huffington Post South Africa has been granted leave to appeal the hate speech ruling by the Press Ombud which ultimately led to her resignation, the appeals panel of the Press Council said on Wednesday.

Easiest test:
Swap the races and sexes around and ask the same question: Could it be time to deny black woman the franchise? She wouldn't have dared publish that because of "freedom of speech", which means that she was indeed racist and sexist by not applying the same type of thinking to white men.

She got caught out in her bigotry, and even defended it saying it was in line with her thinking. Admit you got caught out, learn from your mistakes and move on.
