Huge crackdown on Android-based “pirate” TV boxes

Police in Scotland have started a massive crackdown on “pirate” Internet TV boxes, TorrentFreak reported.

Please explain: How are the computer manufacturers and suppliers liable? Surely it is the software that enable the users to access streams which the authorities do not want them to. Next story: "Toyota MD in court because driver uses Corolla to exceed national speed limit"
 
yea what ever, tried watching the rugby games through conventional methods recently, both times, "the service is currently unavailable"

had to resort to "other methods" to watch the games.
 
So, if I stream via livetv.ru or vipbox.tv are they going to confiscate my PC?

They must be taking time off from arresting people for singing the wrong songs at football matches.
