People don't always think about what is actually happening and if it is good for the long term. The change was not done to benefit the consumer, it was done because of some back office deal so that FNB can get management of PnP's banking services (speculation, yes)
I have to wonder if this will last long term as PnP has been on a downward spiral for a very long time during the tenure of a couple of CEO's. This might just end up biting FNB in the arse.
One reason I am saying this, why does FNB and PnP need to put out so much PR if it is working, if it was working, would that have not been enough PR? Also, preliminary results are always great - look at the covid vaccine studies that proved it 99% effective.
