Huh?

Why are you using Kies?
You probably install the software that comes pre-loaded on external hard-drives as well, don't you?
 
I use kies a lot to move over customers information from their older phones to samsungs phones.
 
Kies? Really?

Samsung is speechless about it, that's why the empty agreement. :p
 
I agree about Kies being utter cr@p, what alternatives do you people use?

My biggest issues are with file transfer. It takes much longer than just copying the files directly. Copy operations also have a nasty habit of freezing if you copy large files (like a movie or TV series). Another issue I have is that if a copy operation bombs for whatever reason, the temp file in the root of the android device is not removed immediately. A few of these over time and suddenly you are out a few gig of storage space. There are a number of other, smaller bugs in the software as well.
