It seems the prez has decided to reward the dude who got him out of all the k@k he was in by organising for him to get some "salary" at the tax payers expense.
In a controversial move this week, President Jacob Zuma appointed Michael Hulley, his personal lawyer and one of the directors of the now-liquidated mining company Aurora Empowerment Systems, as his part-time legal adviser in the presidency. Jobs4Pals

I guess being part of a company that fsks over it's employees and strips assets for the enrichment of directors is the kind of qualification one needs to be a presidential advisor

NUM and Solidarity aren't happy about it, but I doubt the prez gives a toss
NUM spokesman Lesiba Seshoka said Mr Hulley’s appointment sent a terrible message that "you can be at the centre of exploitation of poor people but it does not matter as you will still get the official rubber stamp from government".
Solidarity deputy general secretary Gideon du Plessis said the appointment was a slap in the face for the 5300 former Aurora Empowerment Systems employees and was "completely insensitive and reflected a lack of judgment". "It also confirmed Solidarity’s belief that the Aurora directors seemingly have political indemnity."

Obviously, it's not as if our dearly beloved president isn't himself the fscking over & asset stripping for self-enrichment kind.
