Hulu Plus on AppleTV

I have a Roku 3 and an Apple TV. Streaming Hulu Plus to Roku 3 - normally not much of a problem. Hulu Plus App on iPAD not a problem. But Hulu Plus on an Apple TV is a real pain in the butt. It can take up to an hour to watch a 25 minute episode. Is there anyone out there that can explain this or help with this. I am at the point where I want to get rid of the Apple TV and replace it with another Roku 3.

I don't now what's wrong, but I don't have such a problem on my ATV. Do you have Netflix and does it do the same?

Hulu's tech is just terrible in comparison to their competitors

No Netflix is fine on both Roku and Apple TV.
