Mine works fine I don't specify 720p I just put it on Automatic most of the time it appears to be 720p to my untrained eye.
Just note I use a capped account 100GB from Afrihost as I found the Uncapped account irritating it would look nice and not buffer off peak times and look like 480p during peak times.
Talking bout Netflix here, the ads on Hulu drive me insane as they buffer on an uncapped account during peak times.

I don't use Hulu, but 4 meg should be fine. I know on netflix with 4meg you can have 2 people watching at the same time without issue.
Yeah I think the Ads don't adjust in quality like the series and movies.

I synch at 6 megs but still encounter alot of buffering issues with Hulu - Netflix is perfect.
Its the bloody Ads or as I like to call them the Aids

The ads are a pain - but they are very short and unlike DSTV they are the same volume as the program.
Why not get both. But if you had to choose i would say Netflix. The only downside with them is that you have to wait months or even a year to get a season once its finished airing. As davesa said: those are easy to source. Plus you can move regions to find what you like with Netflix and Unotelly

The only real downside is that the shows are a bit slow in airing wise.
As we still dont have Arrow Season 2 yet on either the two subs.
But if you need to you can source it somewhere else as is it was mentioned above.
The ads is just silly as it is always the same ads over and over.

Those same ads over and over again are slowly driving me crazy. I could handle it if the ads were all different.

I found software that records from the browser. But you must pay if download is larger than 50Mb. There must be something out there.

Why would you do that though? It totally removes the convenience of streaming in the first place.
Either plug your PC into the TV or get a media player.
You're missing the point of streaming aren't you?
This is in south Africa.Streaming doesn't always work. and PC is to far from TV. There is a whole house in-between them . And I don't mean this house...
