Looks like the US version of the H2 is going away (not soon enough).

Wonder what impact this will have on the SA produced version. I can't imagine the sale figures are that great (especially after year one of sales).

Hummer - Treehugger article

:)

We don't produce the H2 afaik.. we produce the H3...

Makes no real difference, they're all butt ugly and should never have been made in the first damn place.

For some reason, for me personally, America has the ugliest cars in the worls, ever watched a movie with a higway, even a recent one? It's really really

Yeah we don't produce H2's here, thats why they so damn expensive if you ever see one for sale - they're imported!

I like em though

The H2 is what a Hummer is supposed to be... H3 is ugly!! My GF swears all off them its a little scary sometimes hehehe

No, a Hummer is supposed to be a Hummer, as in the military vehicle.

To have those monstrosities on the road is obscene and should actually be banned as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah I know they are smaller here and a different version. My point was, if models are being discontinued in America (where big cars rule the roads) than what does that mean here in Africa. Surely something similar will occur?

Good riddance

What? I would have assumed otherwise alan. Being pro-Texas and all. ;)

Nah, the French. Migane? Migieane? What ever that thing is.

French cars have curves at least, American cars look like boxes :p

I'd bet you're more likely to see one in California:p

Probably. :o Texas is full of Dodge, Ford, Chevy Super trucks! I have even driven around Houston in a Chevy extended cab / extended bed diesel truck. I felt sooooo local. :p

G class was used for military even the VW beetle was a "military" vehicle...

Niether of those iirc were American military vehicles.... as for the VW it was initially designed as a consumer product and then adapted for military use in WW2. Plus of course they were both designed by European companies that are just better than the Yank ones...

The Hummer was specially designed by the Yanks, is ugly, is slow, and should never have been converted for normal road use....
