So - My house came with an indoor Hunter EC-400i controller that was installed outside in a little box... someone left the little box open and when the water came on it watered the controller - it still works, but the LCD is stuffed.

I now need another one, anyone know where to get them besides Builders Warehouse? I'd also prefer the outdoor one.

Not sure about Kaapstad itself, but here in the dorpies like Swellendam the SSK Ko-op is usually the cheapest. Also try CapeAgri, and the other co-ops

Hey Xrapidx

Did you find one?

My irrigation controller - not a hunter - also conked in and i'm apalled at the prices of new ones :wtf:

Let me know pse if the place where you got one has decent prices?

thanks

Turf Ag was the cheapest (Above link)

I ended up getting the outdoor X-core for R1100... my pump was also shot, this entire thing ended up costing me just under R5,000 :(

I paid the same at FarmCity (AFGRI) for the Hunter X-core 6 station outdoor unit. Very nice unit.

Builders Warehouse are not the place to be looking for irrigation supplies - they're darn expensive!
Example :
Hunter 4 inch pop-up with pro adjustable nozzles were R43 at Builders Warehouse.
I picked them up for R22 at Farm City.
