hi jack
any beta Hunter whit some feedback
pro's, con's, love it, hate it...
Do you still feel like your playing your huner or do you feel like a ranged rogue ?

Aw but you see hunters sux in a nubs hands. Are decent in an average dudes hands and pretty much op in a really skilled players hands.

Ow wait ain't it like like with all classes?

The only difference is, with the hunter class as much as I hate saying it... we also have the biggest influx of Nubs... seriously if you take 10 trial hunters into a guild, you will be very lucky to get one decent one from the lot.
Dont even get me started on ArP stupidity... the mother of stats that confused the living daylights from hunters.

On a good note, the new Cata hunters will make it much harder for people to copy builds. The whole playing style is changing and by the look of it, you have to think quickly in terms of, I only have so much focus, should I use Shot X or Shot Y.
I was really convinced that BM would be the king build again, but after recent nerfs, its survival thats tops. They are still working on the tuning of all the damage modifier stats, but the one thing I am looking forward to, is the good old Aimed shot with a long casting time with big bang effect.

According to some calculations run by the guy from femaledwarf, MM is still currently tops, thou Surv is right behind it.

Maybe during leveling MM is better... from the blue posts as well, they stated survival is currently their strongest build from inhouse testing at blizzard. I can try find the post later on, but I do know the reference about Survival being the strongest, is in terms of level 85 and raiding with decent level 85 epics.
On EJ's most people confirmed that survival is indeed stronger, but the MM playing style is more fun.

Edit - http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=27026394294&pageNo=1#2

They have buffed Aimed shot slightly, but so far the change was not enough to put it ahead of survival. Personally I am hoping for BM to become the new raiding spec again, but again, its to early to make a sound decision on raiding spec yet.

@ Pornolio: Agree with the % of nubs. From what I have seen when a new dude starts wow and ask other people what class he should play allot of ppl reply. If you like melee then try Paladin. If you like range then try hunter :)

well I shoot a freezing arrow at the start of fights to let my LnL prock and I pwn trash. So the huntard whit same spec as me go's on how I am a "dumbass traping mobs in a iceblock, that the tank will just hit anyway" I mean WTF

Survival has been the top DPS spec in beta for a while and still is if not mistaken.
BM used to be the best for leveling due to "stronger" pets (when they still sucked before the pet parse) and insane Kill Command crits but received a few nerfs.
MM suffered a lot with the loss of ArP but there is still much left to be done to balance things out. Still think it's the most interesting rotation out of all of them.

On the whole the swap to focus isn't as bad as one would think. It takes a while to get used to but technically you will have the same rotations as before to keep the sustained DPS.

If that was true... you would see a lot of decent hunters ! :-p
There is reason they call 99% of the hunter players out there huntards hey ...

No ammunition in Cata = fail!
For me this is going to make the class feel watered down and cheaper, just IMO.

tbh, if this was true, there'd be a lot better players of ALL classes. but the human race is very good at being.. um, how shall we say.. downright fscking retarded. most of the classes are ezmode to play. i mean c'mon, mage, hotstreak ftw. warlock, dotdotdot. warrior, hit stuff :p druid, eclipse, hot or swipe etc.

Having a pet of your choice, dealing damage from distance, using bows/crossbows/guns, being the most mobile and durable ranged class in the game, none of these matters because Hunters are actually all about having stacks and stacks of ammo in your bag.
