Huntkey power supplies

Can anyone tell me what a Huntkey power supply is like, are they any good?
I was offered a 700 watt power supply by the company that is advertising in the inside page of the latest PC PORMAT, for R650. Or any suggestions for a similar priced power supply?

Don't buy cheap! Or at least check your stuff, ie. Amps, connectors etc. I did something similar and have been forced to upgrade to a new different one. You have been warned!

Haven't heard good things about them. Rather look at Vantec for cheap quality PSUs.

Likewise, I see they are the only PSUs that PCInt stock, which is unfortunate. I did a bit of research into them whilst sourcing hardware for my upgrade, and I have only heard bad things. I agree with Postman Pot - go for Vantec.

Should be fine if you're not going to overclock anything or push it to its limits

^ nah, R650 is a lot of money to waste on something that's crap, get a Vantec psu

I just got a Huntkey X7 900W so far no problems, but my friend can get me a great deal on a Corsair, so I'll probably be swapping. I might sell mine so if you're keen send me a message.
