HXE310-P "Smart" Meter - code to get install date

I had a HEX310-P smart meter installed at my house. A CIU module was supplied with the unit although I'm on postpaid.

I now have a dispute with JHB CityPower over the install date. They maintain that the new meter was installed on 20 July versus the actual install date of April 29. I am now being double billed for the 7 weeks difference. Is there a way of getting the install date from the meter? Or even a daily log from the beginning?

I have tried to get a log of the installation from Edison Power but finding someone there who actually understands my request is difficult. They seem to think I want to log a fault for a faulty meter....

How does the CIU module communicate with the meter? Any attempts at reading any info from the meter results in a "comms failed" message. Does the CIU need to be linked to the meter?

There is information on the net about codes to request current usage etc but if anyone knows of an undocumented code to get installation details, this would be really helpful.
 
Hi Morgan , did you manage to get any resolve to this ?

I have the same meter and am having intermitted comms failed on the CIU.
