Hydrogen trains are coming

When the UK government cancelled its plans to electrify train lines across Wales, the Midlands and the north of England, and cut back on the Great Western rail network electrification, it brought a premature end to a rail investment programme once touted as the biggest the country had seen since the Victorian era.

But now reports suggest that the government and train manufacturers are hoping there may be an alternative way to turn British railways electric: hydrogen.

It would be amazing for this country though! Can you just imagine them setting a hydrogen train on fire? The vandals would take care of themselves!
Oh The Humanity!

I got excited thinking its coming to SA. What a waste of a read.
Like that would ever happen here ?

Train accidents

hydrogen bomb
noun
  1. an immensely powerful bomb whose destructive power comes from the rapid release of energy during the nuclear fusion of isotopes of hydrogen (deuterium and tritium), using an atom bomb as a trigger.

They cant even size a train correctly for a given track... Where they going to get Hydrogen trains working? LMAO

Lol, comparing the train to a fission weapon!

Rather compare it to the Hindenburg airship.
