Dear Hyperlink ADSL Customers,
As most of you know, Telkom has made some changes to their ADSL service, and thus we have to change our ADSL packages accordingly.
First of all, Telkom has implemented a hard cap, as opposed to the soft cap that has been in place until recently.
Once you reach your allocated bandwidth limit, your service will be disconnected until the end of the current month.
Secondly, Telkom has changed the ADSL billing structure. This will affect all of our higher bandwidth cap account holders.
Our new ADSL prices will be as follows:
2GB – R 165.00 – no change
3GB – R 219.00
5GB – R 299.00 (special price to current Hyperlink subscribers - Normal price - R 349)
10GB – R 685.00
Once you have reached your cap, you will have the option of buying additional bandwidth at R 75.00/GB (or an additional 3, 5, or 10GB at the same prices as above).
We do have an alternative to the SAIX accounts.
We signed an agreement with Internet Solutions, allowing us to offer you IS accounts as an alternative.
The prices on the IS accounts are very similar to our existing SAIX packages, but with the added advantage of a 30GB local cap.
So, once you have reached your allocated bandwidth, you will still have up to 30GB of local access.
