Hi guys,
TV: Hyundai 47" Ruby FHD LCD TV
Age: 2 years (Bought on October 2012)
Warranty: Zip
Packaging: No
Condition: Damaged (internal), external looks ok
Location: Johannesburg (East/South)
Reason: Taking up space
Shipping: No
Price: R1000 neg
About 2 years ago my first TV (Hyundai 47" Ruby FHD LCD - yeah I learnt my lesson after that) was hit by lightning via the HDMI port. At that time in my life I did not have insurance, first time moved up by myself.
The TV still works, kinda.
1. On start-up, its very slow to respond. It does get better after a few min.
2. HDMI ports do not work but the others do. Got a old dvd player connected to it
3. I did send it for repairs about 6 months ago to Mastertronics but they could not find a new board and the repair shop closed down
4. Had a look at repairing myself and it seems to have a Samsung LCD(doesn't mean much I know) and a Hyundai board. Getting a new board via online that might work is abt R1000.
