Good day

I drive a 2012 Hyundai Sonata 2.4 Gls exexutive. The car has an Auto transmission and today it stalled twice. I managed to get home. Does anyone know what could make it stall. Even in Neutral it ended up switching off. Besides going to Hyundai has anyone experienced such and how was it fixed.

Check the basics first like oil level, clogged filters, clogged fuel line, earthing.

Next check radiator / water, water pump, fans and spark plugs, if there are any warning lights.

If all that is good, then you need to get an analysis with error codes so you know what to replace.

Go to a mechanic way too many variables for a forum to gibe give you an answer.

You are servicing according to the intervals right ?

Best to take it to a mechanic. Could be something like oil/fuel/air filter being clogged but it's also good to have the sensors checked to rule out any issues because a bad crankshaft position sensor could also be the problem (had this on another Hyundai though it was a manual).

Yeah i checked all the basics, however seems okay now and its running. I had corrosion on my battery terminals. I cleaned that up and it seemed to help however i will go to mechanic anyway just to check it out and give feedback after.
