I am a racist

I don't know why people decide to take upon negative labels anyway, i mean i could say "I'm a sexist." No, i am not a sexist. The people who think i am a sexist or racist or ageist are morons. You guys let these labels and these idiots get to you and now you want to embody and become the thing they say you are.

We also get caught up at pointing the figner back at them and shouting "But YOU'RE the racist." They're idiots. Don't give them any otehr kind of label, they're an idiot.Zuma, Malema, they're not racists or sexists, they're morons and deserve to be put in the corner.

We're turning our politics and social status as a country into a joke. There are plenty of good people who go on with life and while they may have slight racist tendencies or flawed views, are good people at the end of the day. Don't let these morons run the show

Malema not a racist? Tell me another!

TL;DR. All she needed to do was post the list of "can'ts" :erm:

Wow, total mind reader. Read the list of cant's and that was it.

I still refuse to click news24 links. Provide credible sources. People magazine is a more credible news source.

User opinions/comments on news24 is a breeding ground for idiots and racists. Now and again one or two decent people come across but most people are there to stir with their own backward thinking. The actual news24 articles are okay though most of the time, just brief bits of information for quick reading.

Have you ever asked to woman that accused him? I thought not. But fear not we all were lectured over time about the acceptable "cultures" when it suits them. Even those that supposedly cure aids. ;)

Sorry but its generally accepted that the woman was lying and there was no rape. She had done the rape claim thing before and there were strong allegations of her being hired to make the accusations and she was found by the court to have lied. Anyone who followed the trial accepts it was consensual sex and not rape.

Dude this was not a very racist post.

Yep. She is a racist.
The painting in and of itself is not racist. But when you look at it from the perspective of years of arrogance towards black male sexuality as "savage", in that context (which you simply cannot remove it from), it is racist.
And by sticking up for it, it exposes the author of that piece as still being racist

The courts asked her quite thoroughly, it was found to consensual.

Malema not a racist? Tell me another!

I'm inclined to believe he's not particularly racist. He's just an oppurtunist. White people are just a handy scapegoat to toss under the bus for him. He'd do it to Zulus or Indians if he didn't have white people.

Malema not a racist? Tell me another!

More a moron than a racist at least, he'll take money from white, black, indian :p

Edit: Unlike that idiot on facebook, who would probably choose slaughtering a white baby child than winning the lotto

In this country anything that brings up race as a topic is immediately branded racist. It is sad not only because it is being wantonly used and cheapening true discrimination based on a persons race but also because it is being viewed through polarized glasses. If you are white you can be a racist but not a victim of racism. As a democracy we are supposed to enshrine the values of equal rights, responsibility and opportunity for all. When a job applicant was marginalized due to race in the apartheid era it was known as job reservation, today it is affirmative action and BEE. When a university applicant is shown two columns, one showing the points needed for a course under normal conditions, and the much lower amount reserved for "previously disadvantaged" applicants something is wrong. If you can not receive a job or entrance into a course on merit you do not deserve to be there. Those that are in the position due to a helping hand generally do not perform as well, varsity drop-outs are often those who got into a course below the "normal" requirements. Statistics back up that claim.

South Africa needs a reality check. The government have had 18 years, apartheid has been gone for 20. Have people forgotten what real racism is? Or have they been blinded into believing it only works one way, and anything else is racist?

Or is accused of playing the 'race' card

Is this your opinion?

Perhaps you have forgotten what real racism is?

Racism is about seeing another race as inferior. Assuming someone is dirty, stupid, unevolved, etc simply because of their race, is what racism is about. Apartheid marginalized black people due to racism - blacks were seen as dirty and unhygienic which is why we didn't share buses, benches, beaches and toilets with them. They were seen as incapable and stupid, which is why we didn't educate them fully or give them decent jobs. They were seen as childlike, unevolved, which is why we called grown men 'boys' and a grown woman 'the girl'. They were seen as savages. This is racism.

BEE and AA is not racist in the same way since the intentions and reasons are different. The current government implements these policies, not because it considers whites to be incapable, stupid, dirty or inferior, but because it is trying (unsuccessfully) to redress the imbalances created by the legacy of apartheid. This is not technically racist although it is racial discrimination and is unfair to many white people trying to get a job. It is not comparable to the racism blacks faced during apartheid though.

This dude's moves are so racist:

so what about if you are really dirty, stupid, [-]unevolved[/-], etc ........
is that still racist?

ask your anc government to take out the clause of "AA" from the constitution and let's see. ;)

This article pretty much sums on my feelings. I am getting so sick of the race card being played.

Case in point:
http://www.iol.co.za/news/crime-courts/mdluli-blames-racist-plot-1.1294371
In an interview with the Mail & Guardian, Mdluli said the allegations derived from a “racist” plot by white Western Cape policemen who were investigating him.

The old race card used to be laughable, but lately its becoming such an annoyance. Its down right childish!

no, you didn't.

I said if you are really dirty, stupid (facts, not assuming), and you are black. (fact)
you may deny what I said (you are dirty and stupid), but in fact you are dirty and stupid.
in this situation, will that make me "racist"? (it is because you may not feel the same as what I think.)

Clear?
