Thanks for the hearty reply. I fully agree with you that it can't go on like this.

Two questions:

1. Do you think a painting that can be offensive to a whole lot of people, which is now a media and political trophy, is good for a country that 'can't go on like this'?
2. Do you notice any similar sorts 'decay' in first world countries? Perhaps a larger scale?

I think the painting was offensive and initially supported the ANC and Zuma on it.
The minute they turned it into a race card issue - I turned against them :mad:

I think most of the world is in decay, too many people on the planet competing for too few resources.
We have lost our moral compass.

Race, religion and politics are 3 topics that should be banned from forums. Everyone has different views about it. And 90% of the time it just leads to one big argument.Unless someone asks for your views on one of these topic leave it alone.

After years of forum arguments I have come to the conclusion that people should just calm the heck down and not take everything so seriously.
 
The word racist is a word used against uppity white people.
Plain and simple.

not digging a grave, but each side has a few people who are widening the divide between the uneducated.

enough educated people can seethis for what this is though, media sensationalism and dumb people getting into a fist fight
