Hello
So, I finally managed to get a blowtorch at Home etc, in Canal Walk. My last attempt to make Creme Brulee last year came out disastrous. This time, I did some research and found a good recipe, and also got myself a sieve, a blow torch and proper ramekins (the other ones I could not find small ones so I used two big oven dishes things).
SO, my recipe that I took is as follows:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/originalcremebrulee_81524
OK, so now, I followed all the steps, and I threw in the cream into the egg mixture, and I beat it, but it did not seem to thicken alot... but its in the oven now and its looking good. The consistency was that of pancake mix (but a little less thick), so I hope its right haha!
I will take them out 15h40 and then will see.
Then, I will let it cool down, and once its ready, I will sprinkle on some sugar and attempt to Brulee haha! I will put the pics up now now once out the oven
