In my honest opinion, if your the type of person with an addictive personality like that its only a matter of time before your next fix comes along...

Hello to all the BF2 gamers.
It has been a while since I have read any the forums. I think it has been something like 3 or 4 months now that I have been addiction free. :p

I did complain last time of how this game has cost me a lot of $$$$. My old BF2 DVD is still in its box in my cupboard. Scratched the same way as i left it 4 months ago.

My small bussiness practice that I have neglected while playing hundreds of hours of BF2, is now back on its feet. I have since moved out of my house and into a office in town. Employed another draughtsman and looking at getting another. Business is good.

Leaving this game was the best thing I ever did.

Although............. I never got to play BF 2141 (huh?) Is it any good.

the game play is snail's pace

ever rd the dog was saying yesterday geez this game is much faster than 2142 :)

if you like slow paced kuk then bf 2142 is for you :)
 
I have retired from 2142, too boring!
I have about 7x more hours on BF2 and still loving it :)

I prefer 2142, but I might log in bf2 and play a bit sometime, as soon as I get the next unlock... and maybe the one after that... maybe two more then...

Why do you guys think they wont put a realism mod for BF2 on SGS??? To me, thats what BF2 lacks...Realism (I've asked many many many many times but I never get anywhere. :(

I was thinking maybe because mods arent really supported and they dont want headaches, stress, issues etc???

or just because? :confused:

Have any of you guys tried Allied Intent or Reality mod??? That is what BF2 should have been like out the box but instead EA stated that BF2 is "arcadie" on purpose to appeal to more peeps and make more moneyz

At least 2142 is getting shiny new toys with the next expansion coming out, BF2 could really do with a couple new maps and vehicles...I know there is SF but its not the same thing. A hummer with a TOW launcher for eg could become a very welcome addition, but mainly new urban maps.
 
Wow... I saw BF2 is now R70 or something tlike that!!

Good thing I have iBurst........ so it is not possible for me to play BF2. :p

(but i do still have my cd key) :D

I used to play fine in Cape Town on iburst. In jozi it was impossible.

Theres a ROE, rules of engagement. The problem is there are so many real smacktards online, that admins now have 0 tolerance.
