Trying really hard to help you here - its almost like you do not want to find a solution Treesize does work (you can run a scan and compare the two xml exports) - copying a file will change the create date - move will keep the create date but modify the accessed date. Anyway, use it, don't use it....

One of the old versions of system mechanic could do that. Takes a snapshot & then later does a comparison. New versions don't have it.

My mistake. Treesize Pro has the functionality but not normal Treesize. Respect.
