I blame the new users!!

Ok so the new users blame the "bandwith hogs" fair enough, but once the "hogs" were suspended people still had problems. If speeds were better for anyone I would say it had more to do with the brand new bandwith manager they installed on the same day as kicking "abusers" off.

Here's the thing though, the network had more people download more amounts from november till march, and barring the odd technical problem.. the network was fine. So I blame the new users, seeing as when they came in the problems arose :p

I was here first, so first come first serve
 
Like I always say when people have a problem. "What changed in the time the problem occurred??" The answer here is this:
1. new users signed up for I K A K.
2. Bandwidth management software was implemented after insufficient testing.
3. WBS saw the first stats on usage and was horrified they had incorrect business model, thus they cut a few users off the top of the list.

IMO there is more to this than new & old customers consuming all the bandwidth, I think there was also a sizeable reduction in total bandwidth supplied by UUNET as a result of WBS saying our cap is in place, we don't need as much bandwidth anymore... oh and the Bandwidth Mismanagement non-system as well!
 
i just wanna know wtf was prelaunch for? they still have problems with it, it seems to me that all they did was make a website

Hey, you can't say that ... they sold a few hundrend VERY expensive boxie-thingies as well ... :D
 
i blame the govt, my isp, telkom, eskom, america, the taliban, um... support desks, cheap bandwidth, expensive bandwidth, forums, proxy servers, the internet, computers, tits and ass, the exchange rate, the management, the staff, um....whiney forumites, admins...
