I cannot access my data files...

I have a transcend 2.5" portable hard drive and version 3.0.1.0 Store jet and I copied the data manually to the personal folders. The problem is I have reformatted my PC I connected the HDD but I now cannot access these folders it is giving me access denied, knowing that I put no password for it! thanks!

Could be permissions.
Right click on the folder, select "Properties".
Go to "Security" tab, then click "Advanced" at the bottom.
Go to "Owner" tab and change the owner to your account. Also check the tick box at the bottom to replace owner of subcontainers and objects.

Go back to the "Security" tab and make sure "CREATOR OWNER" has full control of the folder.
