I cannot be arrested by k*****s

I've been insulted and called racist names by customers because I cannot speak Xhosa, and they refuse to speak English.

It is true that white on black racism gets much more publicity. In the end of the day we are all victims, white not moreso than black and black not more than white.

Old friends of mine used to drive around drunk in a small town i will not mention, stop next to the road to jump out and beat up any random black person walking alone at night. And this was 2004/2005.

A few months ago the same kind of thing happened to me. I managed to get away with minor bruises but lost my takeaway supper because they thought it would be funny to trample it. This happened on the side of a busy main road. Yet you dont see me hating all blacks or being racist like.

who says i was hating blacks? its just something i saw

oh and they went through a whole plan to kill white people an IM RACIST?

Minutes later the boy's mother charged at Makgwane and ordered her to give her sons their ball, accusing Makgwane of provoking them. She also threatened to call the police.

It depends which side you believe, but it looks to me like the mother provoked the kids by not giving the ball back.

very lame.
I wonder what satisfaction such people get from beating up a random persons?:confused:

That's something i would love to know. What's the fun of violence in the first place?

You ever been to the North West?

I lived there, kzn, and now in the Eastern Cape, racism is everywhere im afraid.

Well i most certainly didn't say you're hating blacks did I? :confused::rolleyes:

...it's also said that she waved them to wait as she was still on the phone...but the 16 year-old got impatient and started slurring.

Unless you were there, the "waving" could have been the finger.

She said her neighbour's eldest son climbed over the wall and politely asked her to give the ball back, but she waved, indicating that she was on the phone.

She said the elder son was polite...why would she wave a finger at him?

I am worried by the fact that you thought that was a woman, what beasts have you been with :sick:

She`s obviously pregnant!, Displaying how she is going to be breastfeeding.
I don`t find her sexy though, don`t know why... maybe its the glasses

I can kind of see that now, kind of like the worlds largest [Have to be PC on MYBB] Lady and the Bearded lady had a love child and she got pregnant on a date with Jabberwocky, Good eye on ya ;):p JK

you get black racists too, i think cultures and people just have different ways of expressing their racism, with white people it's always been more vocal and intimidating than it has been to really harm black people

When it comes to racism and whites I find it more prevalent amongst afrikaans people from observation.

The intention is irrelevant, to harm or insult is still racism.

Later, as Makgwane was dropping off her electrician, she received a frantic call from her domestic worker telling her there were "angry white men looking for her".

Angry white men hey? When I relate a story to someone, I don't normally relate everything by race.

I certainly seems to be the case with this sort of overt racism.

i also find more white afrikaners racist, but that is just my experiences, but i've met a lot of great afrikaans guys as well. i think most afrikaners, especially in the north west just have slight racism as part of their culture, where it's a social thing to dislike k****rs and talk about the good old days. not all afrikaners are like this tho, but i think it's a self-identity thing where some people feel that they have to be a little racist if they're afrikaans, because they're culture and language is under threat.

racism is still racism.

And I bet the police woman did nothing to provoke this whole incident?

He asked her politely, she could just have nodded her head or or given him a thumbs up or whatever, but she in all probability waved him off.

On racism, it is getting worse and worse as the time goes on, between all races. Specially the black youth as well.

+1 to biscuit.

im not defending his actions but maybe this is why hes angry at them

http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=37010

ofc you are defending him by saying "...maybe this is why.."

If you respond to racism by being racist yourself, you fail. If he was indead the victim of a racist attack(verbally or otherwise), the correct response is to challenge their racism and not sink to their level. Ofc, this is impossible for any racist, as they instinctively revert to a racist response. For too many South Africans(black or white) this is the case. They simply do not know how to behave in a non-racist fashion. I doubt they will ever change, and the best we can hope for is that they eventually die of old age without infecting their children too much. South Africa still has a very long way to go before the vast majority of black and white South Africans can treat people of other racists as human beings.

so if someone asked for a lift, and the driver said no, it's provoking them to hijack driver?

the point is the boy was polite in the beginning, if it was white neighbours they could have gotten the ball back without calling them racist names or shoving a gun in their face.

is it really wrong of them to long for the good old days when they were protected under work reservation and separate development? and now its been taken away by the black people in charge ( in their eyes in any case)
Many still grow up in that social structure, it is really naive and stupid to expect them to change after years of indoctrination. Some of the Afrikaners in Zeerust Lichtenburg and the rest of the North-West most probably support the AWB, VF and all other ridiculous values that they claim are associated with being an Afrikaner. Unfortunately they don't realise that their children will grow up in a multi-cultural society where racism is not tolerated as in theirs.

The verse "father forgive them, because they know not what they are doing"? comes to mind.

Agreed, not all afrikaans people are like this but generally amongst whites they come across as the most racist out of the bunch and it seems pretty common.

Ja, racism is racism irrespective of your culture or language. If you're a tappet you're a tappet :D

Just a question: When the lady fetch the ball from the pool, and kept it in her house, why didn't she for the same effort, simply dropped-kicked it back over the wall?

I have a similar problem, I keep the ball, until the parents come to fetch it. And I let them know exactly what I think of their little brats. One day the buggers are going to break a window!
