I cannot log into Facebook

Idiot of the year post, no doubt...

I lost my phone, replaced it with an old used phone, now I cannot get into Facebook.

I've gone all the way to uploading my ID and my passport. Still not working.

What in the name of all that's holy do I do now??

No, I have the two-factor authentication activated. Password works, but then it does this: (see pic).

Then it either does or doesn't send me a login code. When it ddoes send a 6-digit code to my phone, it says ... (see second pic).

Are you requesting the code multiple times? Even by accident? Coz sometimes they are sooooooooo slow in sending it that it times out

Nope. I request it and then sit and watch the paint dry, batteries die, animals go extinct... And nothing happens.

Nope.

@rehann you will need to follow through with those last two options if you can't get your sim/number/sms's sorted. You are going to need to be patient as they can take up to months to respond due to the enormous amount of users they have. But maybe go back to whoever your number is with (MTN/Vodacom) and check why you dont get the sms.
