So i ordered a Line in october last year been waiting since for them to "upgrade infastructure"
ive phoned probably 30 times and been told a multitude of different stories
Including

They busy Upgrading .
There are lines in your complex but they have not been connected

Estimated date of delivery was December which came and went

now today 3 months later after fighting with them for i dont know how long
they tell me that infact they cannot provide the service to me ...

WTF ???

anyways i need some alternatives
i generally do play some games online and download an average amount
I need something affortdable . Sub R700 a month and uncapped


I dont want to deal with Telskum anymore , its utterly pathetic

I have found that lately the only way to get Telkom to pull a finger out the arse is to get the line in the name of a business. They seem to put a little bit more speed into business landlines.
 
anyone with any suggestions on a wireless alternative ?
 
i find visiting a Telkom store in person helps more than going through the call centre, they actually seem to help
