I have a Zyxel P-320W sitting in the roof of my garage. The ISP guys set it all up for me about a year ago and everything was hunky dory. Till now. I need to fiddle with it a teeeeeeeeeny leeeeeeeetle bit and I don't have the password. :(

Is there any hope to be had for the poor sorry soul that is me?

yeah, tried that alleady

I am hoping that some uber ninja has some never seen before method of hacking into the router that is so easy, even a child could do it. Not only that, this uber ninja person just happens to be scanning the hardware section of myadsl tonight.

too much too ask for? naah, stranger things than THAT have happened. but not often.

How about you uber-ninja up yourself a telephone call to the guys who installed it?

Try using "admin" as the username and "admin" as the password (or "administrator" as username).

Have a look here as well.

If all else fails you're going to have to push the little button that says reset :(

It could also be as easy as pulling the power out and then plugginf it back in.

If not...do as WKJ says, hard reset with a paperclip.

Keep in mind that, if your ISP's guys set it up with a predefined ADSL username and password, you'll lose that information when you hard reset it.

and that's why I won't reset it. that and lotsa other little info doodies in there. i'll just phone them on mondee.

Hi dotVIBE,

Try this:
Default IP is - 192.168.1.1
Default Username - Admin
Default Password - 1234

Give that a try and see

sweet talk your router and see what happens :)
